Sadly a consumer and their money are swiftly parted, especially with new 'fad technology'. You have a heap of baby boomers trying to prove their tech savvy prospects to younger women, or worse, their kids, who will rush out and buy something absolutely worthless. 3D has always been a fad, a novelty. Tech retailers will force it into the mainstream eventually, but then again look at how slow VR goggles have progressed, even though they're down to a few hundred bucks and as streamlined as a pair of sunglasses.

Love this article. Couldn't agree more mate. Great work and thanks. Hopefully this "fad" will be in and out. Either that or never even take off. Or is it too late for that?
